- Apr 8: All the homework marks are in for Dr. Israel's section.
On the most part the marks were good. The only people who failed were those
who did not hand in all the assignments. There were 3, one of whom I
beleive dropped the course. The rest of the marks were reasonable.
- Mar 6: Dr. Israel's second midterm is in the lab Thursday March 14 and
Tuesday March 19.
- Mar 4: Instead of downloading all the "*.ms" files that you can find to your
own directory you can find them all in "/opt/local/www/coursedoc/m210/maple".
and rather than typing "cd blah" each time use the following command to create
a link to that directory:
ln -s /opt/local/www/coursedoc/m210/maple doc
Then you can simply type "cd doc" to go to /opt/local/www/coursedoc/m210/maple.

- Feb 29: When submitting assignments for assignment 3 and higher please
save the file exactly as "hw-pickup/assign.m210s201" for Dr Israel's class or"hw-pickup/assign.m210s202" for Dr Sjerve's class.
- Feb 29: Dr Israel's assignment 3's due date is pushed back to March 8.
There were misprints in the formulas of questions 2(c) and (d) in the html
versions.
- Feb 15: For those who were wondering -- the lab is open next week.
- Feb 5: Dr Israel's Midterm is in the lab next week!
- Feb 5: The printer is working. Go nuts!
- Jan 25: If you can't see your typing in xmaple then exit and type
"xmaple -fg black -bg white &"
- Jan 15: To get explicit solutions to quartic equations you must set an
enviroment variable "_EnvExplicit := true;".
